Early Morning Walk

I went for a walk today over by the Tidal Basin. I took along with me my heavy GFX100 with the 250mm lens. I found a place to stand near the Jefferson Memorial. The waterfowl were fully animated despite the chill. There were hundreds of double-crested cormorants sunbathing and periodically performing what seemed to be ritual mating swims by the hundreds. Separately, a pair of mallard ducks swam near my position dunking their heads under the water again and again. I stood there for hours and watched them all play as the world around us continued to move.
